How can we teach English and values at the same time?
(Practical tips integrating the latest trends in Education)

APrIR member Patricia Zorio
Patricia is an experienced teacher of English and Certified Ontological Coach

It has been claimed that a XXI century student needs to develop the so-called “Four Cs”. What does this mean? : Communication, Cooperation, Creativity and Emotional Control. As teachers, we should be acquainted with these values and inspire our students to recognize and use them.

Educational Coaching provides useful tools to develop the “Four Cs” in the class. Applied Drama techniques add “action” to put theory into practice.

In this workshop, we will be learning about Ontological Coaching as the latest educational tool to discover our own talents, use them creatively and learn how to develop them creatively.  On reflecting upon these ideas, you will be able to become a teacher-coach and therefore assist your students in developing useful skills as well as promoting fundamental values in your classes.
