This presentation aims at analyzing how the structure and functionality of blogs and wikis, implemented within a socio-constructivist framework, contribute to the development of a socio-cognitive process approach to writing based on contextualized classroom practices that emphasize the communicative purpose of the task and the importance of socializing students’ productions with a real audience. Authentic ELT experiences will be presented proposing a pedagogical scaffold to articulate face-to-face and online activities in order to develop the different stages of the writing process.

Carla Raguseo holds a Teacher of English degree from IES "Olga Cossettini" and a university teaching degree from Universidad Nacional de Rosario. She currently teaches at secondary school level and is an online tutor of teacher development courses.  She was granted a First-time speaker scholarship by APrIR to attend the 2012 FAAPI Conference in San Martín de los Andes.
