APrIR is a professional association, a non-governmental and non-profit organization, formed and administered by its members, who are all Teachers of English, graduates from state and private Teacher Training Colleges and Universities in Argentina.
APrIR was founded on September 4th, 1976 and is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary.
Objectives:
a) To foster EFL Teacher development by working for the continuous professional improvement and growth of its members.
b) To encourage the setting up of links between Teachers of English and all institutions, national and foreign, who work for the spread of English and improvements in the field of ELT.
c) To become a centre for ideas and opinions as well as a forum of debate in matters related to teaching as well as to the English language and its culture.
d) To promote feelings of friendship and solidarity among members.
